Faith

In the ear buds;  David Crowder Band (DCB)                    Never Let Go

Hebrews 11:1   Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things yet not seen. (KJV)

How difficult it can be at times to have faith on the unseen, the waiting can be so long (well feel so long)…during this time of waiting, for me, there is much growth. Growing in faith, trust, my dependence on God and His perfect timing and my love for the Father.. which has to be my strength.

The waiting can feel  like being stuck in a valley….a seemingly dark, wet and scary place…where there is no way out we can see at the time…Only to realize later that this valley wasn’t really dark, it was actually shaded, not wet but a fine mist that can refresh…and where there appeared to be no way out…there was God! Seeking Him was, and is our way out…(not an anxious sprint, with sweat poring of our forehead and spent) but a stroll…quiet and calm and joyous. Now mind you, this is done with growth, starting out you will run quickly through those valleys, the feeling that you can not make it out alive…or unscathed…to only find that there is a light there….just in the nick of time (always). Your growing and with each trip you complete, and you do want these trips, it will become more of a stroll. You will be able to actually come to a time, of being able to peer behind your shoulder of the path that was just walked…only to find the most lush, green cool perfect grass in that valley, a coolness that is meant to cool the heat underfoot.

Keep your faith, keep your hopes alive in Christ. Don’t give up….Never give up, Never surrender! Don’t give up in the valley, when you don’t see the unseen (yet)…it’s coming and He’s working, and you are learning…..Greatest combo ever~~
