Where does the time go?

I am amazed how time is swiftly going by, its Friday again, and I actually wrote this long hand last Friday….Omgoodness.  Hey, message for TIME; Whoa…, Slow down……Wait-up!

I am now understanding more and more, the words of my grandmothers, great aunts and mom. That time is fleeing, that once you hit a certain time of life that your days will go by so fast, so fast they almost become like a blur! That there was not enough hours in each day to accomplish what you are wanting to do, or needing to do…so… Enjoy your time!

Why is this?… Is it on the molecular level? is it all about the aging cells within our bodies? or is it that we, with time and the issues of life we forget to live “expectantly” as a child awaits eagerly for Christmas morning, or how everything is brand new? Is it that our life has become busy?, to busy, to look forward to the little surprises of life; the beautiful blooms of the cherry blossom tree in early spring, the morning skies with the different pink and blue hues, or the time when the sun is just setting over the horizon that brings such colors in the sky that it takes your breath away? Have you missed these things of late? Take the time, look up!, Take a deep breath!

We must not dwell on the things we have missed, the passing of time! God only gave us eyes in the front of our head to look forward. So please remember to slow down, life passes by so quickly do not miss the beauty that God has put before us, the fragrance of life is great! Even in the valleys there is beauty.

But thanks be to God, Who in Christ always leads us in triumph and through us spreads and makes evident the fragrance of the knowledge of God. (2 Cor 2:14)

Stop and remember the fragrance!!
